I *think* we had the same problem, which derived from the fact that the local-host-names file on the Apache server included the domain. When we commented out the domain in the local-host-names file, the email went through to the correct third-party domain with no problem. HTH! -----Original Message----- From: thelist-bounces at lists.evolt.org [mailto:thelist-bounces at lists.evolt.org] On Behalf Of Jeffrey Barke Sent: Tuesday, September 09, 2008 9:39 AM To: thelist at lists.evolt.org Subject: [thelist] PHP's mail() Does anyone know how to send mail from a domain to that domain if the domain's mail server is different than the Web host? I apologize if this isn't clear, but our client has an MX record that points to a different server than their Web host. When I use PHP's mail() function, mail is successfully sent to everyone except people within the company. How would I send mail to them?
