I don't have any experience with it, but I did just see this on /. OpenID Fan Club Is Shrinking "Even though there's a whole new Web site devoted to understanding and using OpenID, some companies are dropping the login method altogether. OStatic is reporting that the 'free Web site network Wetpaint announced recently that it will no longer support OpenID as a login option for its wiki, citing low usage and high support costs as reasons.' Apparently, fewer than 200 registered users bothered with OpenID, and the extra QA and development time doesn't make it worthwhile to support. This can't come as welcome news on top of the internal issues the article mentions the OpenID Foundation is having now, too." http://tech.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=09%2F01%2F07%2F1958202&from=rss Also, here are relevant blog posts from the creator of a site that took the somewhat unique approach of ONLY accepting OpenID as its login mechanism (as opposed to offering OpenID as an option): http://www.google.com/custom?domains=www.codinghorror.com&q=openid&sa=Search&sitesearch=www.codinghorror.com&client=pub-6424649804324178&forid=1&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&safe=active&cof=GALT%3A%230066CC%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23FFFFFF%3BVLC%3AA2427C%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BALC%3A666666%3BLC%3A666666%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A0066CC%3BGIMP%3A0066CC%3BLH%3A50%3BLW%3A344%3BL%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.codinghorror.com%2Fblog%2Fimages%2Fcodinghorror-search-logo1.png%3BS%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.codinghorror.com%2Fblog%2F%3BFORID%3A1&hl=en -- Matt Warden Cincinnati, OH, USA http://mattwarden.com This email proudly and graciously contributes to entropy.
