Nick,

You can always set up a redirect on that page once the name is changed so
that anyone who has bookmarked it will automatically be redirected.

Subject: [thelist] Trademarks and webpage names (not domains)

Hi everybody,
I recently had a request to change the name of one of the pages on a site I
maintain due to a trademark issue, the webpage in question has been 'live'
for over three years and is one of the most often visited pages on the site,
so I am obviously not happy about changing the name of it and breaking
people's external links.
I know we're not all lawyers here, but does anyone have links to information
about using trademarks in web page names?
Not the domain name, but the page name itself (http://example.com/
disney.php).
I've only found info relating to the domain name.
-Nick
P.S. We do have an attorney looking this over, but I wanted to research it
myself (our attorney seems focused on metatags which are not an issue for
us).
