[thelist] Google Results - 'the web' vs 'pages from the UK'

Have set the geographic target in Webmaster Tools. I was aware this could be done when uploading Base files but not for Webmaster tools.
That particular client is already listed as a business on Google Maps/Local Business Centre.
Should be a step in the right direction at least.

Use Google Webmaster Tools
There is a setting 'Geographic target' which can be set for (at least)
.com and .org domains. Also they offer the ability to add your
business to Google maps : http://www.google.com/local/add
No guarantee that it works, it's Google you know, they may decide they
