Sorry Jim, the attachment containing all the empirical evidence which
you base your opinions on seems to have been stripped out of your last
message.

I also have a few programming language opinions of my own based upon
little more than cursory experience with a variety of technologies;
however I choose to keep them off list. 
This is mainly because I choose to not insult the intelligent, talented
people who can wield those technologies with skills far beyond my own.
