Mail.app connects just fine to Exchange; no need to go near the abomination of a mail package that's part of the Mac MSOffice bundle.

(and y'know, iWork ain't that bad, even if Numbers is *very* different to Excel. Not worse, but if you're a heavy Excel user (ie pivot tables/VLOOKUP and upwards), the transition is rough)
