[thelist] CSS or other possible solution to odd photo position?

Hi all,

I am trying to code a new site to appear like this (there will be a
navigation in the upper right, but it is hidden in this image):

I am trying to figure out the best way of coding for the image in the lower
right hand corner; this image will be different on each page. I also need
to keep the coding as simple as possible. The business owner is proficient
in basic HTML and will be many updates to the site herself. She should,
ideally, be able to change out the image as needed on any individual page.

Here is the coded site thus far; the photo is the only element that is
missing before I build the pages:

I tried to add a CSS class ("photo") and the following html to the template:

<div class="photo"> <img src="images/home.png" /> </div>

As you can see, this has not worked. Does anyone have any thoughts as to
what might work?
