Do you have to have this:
<!--[if FIREFOX]>
I never have this, I use the conditional syntax only for IE.

Subject: [thelist] problem with positioning dropdown menu using Firefox

Dear Folks.

It has been a very long time since I’ve been in touch. Much has happened, but I’m back!

I am having a problem with finding the correct positioning for my menu list in the Firefox browser. IE works fine but in Firefox, the drop-down (LI items) swing over to the left instead of lining up correctly under their respective “headings”: Company, Products, Services and Downloads. I’ve been changing the margin-left pixel number to different numbers, but can’t seem to hit on the right number. I’ve tried several numbers; it’s now set at margin-left: 400px.

Could someone help me out re this?

Thanks,
Shar

<!--[if IE]>
<style type="text/css" media="screen">
#menuList UL {margin-left: 145px;} </style><![endif]--> <!--[if FIREFOX]> <style type="text/css" media="screen"> #menuList LI {margin-left: 225px;} </style><![endif]-->
