Seems from other posts that in this particular case, alternative fonts
of similar type face is available on all OS. 

A better way to show any non web font is to use the FontSquirrel link
given by Simon.  Here are the details on how to use it
http://www.html5rocks.com/tutorials/webfonts/quick/  Supports almost all
popular browser versions. There may be license issues though.  

If a client insisted on non-standard fonts, they should take care of
license costs as well.
