I'm looking for recommendations for an online survey tool.

My key requirement is basically that it have an API that makes it easy for
me to get the results out and do interesting things with them.

I had assumed that SurveyMonkey would make this "Laughably Easy", because
it's er, the frist thing I want from an online survey platform.

However either I'm being particularly obtuse, or that is "Not the case".

Thoughts, opinions, suggestions, war stories?
