What are some simple/simplistic video editing packages available for Linux, Ubuntu 12+?  Rephrase that to packages that you have experience with, not just those I can google?

Simplistic needs:

* Add a title page, with some text
* Add some text, pointer to a set of frames
* Copyright page, etc at the end
* Output to m4v or mp4

Optional:

* Fade transitions

Alternate (preferred) solution:

* Sample commands to do any of the above with ffmpeg or similar command line utility.
