[thelist] Hello World, Hello Stars, Hello Universe

In the first-computer-not-mine-though realm, DEC PDP-1170 with "discs" the size (and nearly the shape) of a bundt cake. Kept in a room cold enough to store meat. Now my phone is probably significantly more powerful (though it'd be hard pressed to run 20 workstations).

TRS-80 but it wasn't mine. I just used it all day, all summer long, right
there in the Radio Shack.

What's a radio shack, dad? Slap.

First one actually ~owned~? Atari 800 with the BASIC cartridge and a
cassette recorder for program "storage".
