"not supposed to be answered" is an odd bit of wording to describe these
sorts of emails, but i digress.

this has been discussed in the past and there's a solution partially
developed that would given even authors the ability to manage images and
files for their articles.

there are other members that can do this as well, but i suspect they may be
as busy as i am.

both requests are doable, they'll simply require some development time.  how
much, i'm not sure.
