Not really. First off, I've often seen and participated in wholly merited
discussions on whether to do or not do work, where the discussion has taken
longer than the job itself. However, I'm not entirely convinced the
discussion in this instance wasn't protracted by yourself and your
arguments against us having the access we requested an age ago.

I can understand things of a higher priority excluding evolt stuff getting
done - that's not my beef, and I'd never berate anyone for saying "ah, I
couldn't get this done today, real life intervened", but to say you only
learned of the request is hogwash - you knew we'd been asking for this
since last year.

Only if that's the way you choose to take it. Again I pass on my thanks
for doing the job, but the length of time it took for an agreement for it
to be done was ludicrously excessive. If you don't have enough time to
dedicate to evolt, then *please* realise there are plenty of people here
willing to help share the load.
