I'm about a hundred pages into O'Reilly's Mastering Regular Expressions by Jeffrey E. F. Friedl.  So far it seems ok - at least, he hasn't totally lost me yet <grin!>.  ISBN 1-56592-257-3.

Is there a good online tutorial somewhere on regular expressions?  Or is
there a simply outstanding book out there that covers regular expressions
really well?
