Maybe that is why I avoid all frames. ;-) Seriously, why are you trying to pass JavaScript wrappers inside a JavaScript function? Is all of this just to produce an alert? Have you tried creating a global variable in the <HEAD> of the page and reference that var from within the IFRAME?
