Andy,

I've never come across a way to alter an already-open window. You
could, however, open a new window with the proper specs... and in most
cases, close the original window if you want. Take a look at
http://aspalliance.com/peterbrunone/impossible.asp if you're interested.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi Mike,

Did a search for toolbar removal and came across your post. It's exactly
what I need ! Did you ever figure it out? If so could you pass along any
info... It would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to remove the browser toolbar after an instance of the
browser (IE 5.x and above and/or Netscape 6) window is already created? I
have seen many examples of the Window.Open javascript function where I can
set the third parameter to "toolbar=no" but I don't have control of how the
user opens the browser window so I can't use that function.

Any ideas or am I just missing something?

Thanks,
Mike
