[Javascript] Re: French accents in wondows.status

So, how can you choose a fnt to display with windows.status ? In my 
browser it seems Verdana or something. This is probably not the 
problem, because I see the actual entities (é) in the 
window.status area.  I had the same kind of problem with accents in  my 
web page's body. The accents in the code didn't work properly and I had 
to use the entities. Does my HTML document have to be in UTF-8 or 
something ?
