[Javascript] frames don't overlap

Hi

I'm newer here, first mail...

1- On top of screen i have a pull down menu

2- In the middle of screen, have a IFRAME where i display several PDF files
and sometimes other HTML files

3- When the menu cross the FRAME and in there are another HTML file... there
is no problem: the menu overlap the HTML text and i can see the menu

4- When the menu cross the FRAME and in there are a PDF file ... then I
can't see the menu because it's overlapped by the PDF

5- What can i do...
