Hmmm... I don't think that's correct. The impression I got was that the
BoD would be limited to handling only legal/financial stuff and that the
community direction would be left to theforum.

IOW, the BoD would be similar to a Law Director on a council who smacks
the councilmembers in the face before they start doing something that
would violate their charter, etc.
