me neither.  didn't really know, didn't really care.  I did recognize 
lots of monkeyjunkies names though, and later discovered many were on 
admin.

I think a lot of people sub to the list for a time before spending 
more time at the (web) site and digging into the history of Evolt.

There is much info that is not yet in writing.  Other info is there 
on evolt.org, but you have to explore the site to get it.

consensus has two meanings actually:

Evolt historically uses #2, the more "general" meaning... or at least 
from what I've seen.

But in either case, greater numbers, and/or fluctuating numbers, 
makes consensus harder to gage.  Which is why some of us have 
advocated for a more formalized "voting" system for certain decisions.
