I'd rather it was done more privately so as to appear in an inbox, rather
than get lost in the mess of threads on thelist. Many people, I imagine,
would go days without attending to their thelist folder or digests.

If I didn't get the article status alerts on [admin], I'd prefer to get a
new article alert whenever articles appeared.
