i'm thinking one set of checkboxen is called "Graphics" and 
another is called "Coding"?  each of the two lists above is stuffed 
into the appropriate grouping:

_Graphics_
o  Raster
o  Vector (illustration)
o  Paint
o  Layout
o  Modeling/Rendering
o  Other...

_Coding_
o  WYSIWYG
o  Text editors
o  Language-specific tools
o  Other...

or am i nutso here?
