+1 if it has to be static - one size fits all.

If can we get a user-definable setting (hell, even a national
setting would do), then scratch the above and +1 on

(why does my OSX with UK settings display the date in
the menubar clock as Monday 12/10/2001? Doing my voicemail
greeting this morning[1], it *really* confused me)

[1] how to disguise sleeping in until 8:50: Record your daily
greeting before 9am, so no-one knows you're about an
hour from getting any useful work done. Not that I ever do
