Now that the idea is clear (er), I would not necessarily recommend
Amazon.com for this though. They take a whoopping 15% of all donations.
Their system for donating is good, but their share of the pie is just too
big.

Paypal agressively pursued me when the site I was involved with was chosen
by Amazon for their Honor System launch. Paypal takes a lot less %, but more
people have a problem with paypal, than with Amazon. And I don't think
Paypal has the thermometer thing in place.

Neither have a perfect system for micropayments......
