firstly, this is for OUR needs. if we can plop it onto SF too, then tha's
great.

secondly, IF we're going to be displaying this to the open source
community, i won't want what you're suggesting in there. duplicating data
like this in a separate table is not a good idea. and your suggested
implementation adds extra complexity to the application, which is also not
a good idea.

you are asking for the implementation to change the way it displays
information based on an added type "anonymousvote". i could *maybe*
understand wanting the display of results in a poll and vote to differ
(though i wouldn't want that), but what you're suggesting is even more
complex. currently, we plan to keep this display the same for all types of
surveys (or whatever you want to call the more general group of which
"poll" and "vote" are child members). simple. nice. easy. expandable.
