Make it as easy as possible for people to donate to evolt.
ie multiple services maybe? during redesign, put a donate
link up alongside the other site-wide links such as faq.
Make it a link to a page detailing all the ways people can
donate, with as many as possible being easy for the user to
donate. If it's easier, they're more likely to do it,
right? Also, at the top of the donation page have a short
why donate message.

On the users first signup for evolt / evolt services (such
as meo, thelist, etc), add to the messages the user
receives a link to the donation page, with a short message
detailing that evolt relies on donations from people to
run.

Also, on the evolt donations page have a link to the
merchandise things, saying that as well as giving back to
the community, you can give back to the community by buying
this great stuff.. etc etc.
