that's misleading (the statement, not you). she wasn't given access when
she isn't an admin. she was given access when she was an admin. the
password just wasn't changed, because there wasn't a need to change
it. access isn't based upon users, AFAIK. it's a one-password deal.

anywho, i think Michele and everyone understands where everyone stands, I
think. it's just hard to *not* help out when people on admin are talking
about how the few people (whether or not they are, in fact, few) with
access aren't around to do something and you're one of the people who
knows what to do. but i think Michele understands the issues brought up
(she'd have to, it's only been said about 15 times today).

i think evolt could benefit more if it is taken from a personal level and
generalized, like i think you were beginning to do, Marlene.

wasn't there a great deal of work that recently went into a restructuring
of evolt "admin" groups? or was that just a rumor?

Madhu, I never said to just "not fight", implying to drop all issues. but,
as i believe you even wrote about on your own blog, there are many ways to
discuss issues. finger pointing and name calling and stirring up old
arguments isn't the best way, IMO. raising issues and arguing don't have
to be the same thing.

as (apparently) I'm pressed for time, i'll leave it at that...
