can we *please* stop calling it that.  *jfc*

fwiw, the voting app that was discussed, voted on (no pun intended), and
sent to thesite to implement is something that will be implemented on weo.
it would very well as a voting app for theforum issues, especially since the
results could be made available where the membership-at-large is going to
see it.   it will also allow us to run informal surveys on weo and
membership-at-large polls/voting.

the voting app in the php thingie at the url above would only be suitable
for internal uses for theforum as it lacks the necessary tie-in to weo where
the membership-at-large is.
