On average, I receive 300+ spam emails a day through seven different accounts. These are the emails not caught by my spam filters. I can keep adding rules ad infinitum, but I don't ever want to accidentally delete something from any lists as important as these, so I don't have filters running on any evolt.org mailing lists. Please, can we re-examine the decision to allow non-subscribers to post to lists in light of the recent levels of spam, viruses, etc? The last thing I want to see is the evolt.org lists being swamped with more crap like this. It destroys enthusiasm, patience, and gives the appearance of being highly unprofessional. The alternative will be to start attempting to filter lists, which could devastate any attempts to make meaningful contributions. Thanks, Seb.
