We have several sites hosted here, with their own domain mail servers,
that had problems with their local access providers restricting outgoing
mail address to the local providers domain.  It is not too difficult, a
single entry in sendmail, since they owned the pipe to the internet.  It
is usually in good intention to prevent spamming but very inconvenient
to customers that own domains hosted elsewhere.
