here are some things you may want to know about the servers/network.

there are five machines:

relay.evolt.org * 2
oreo.evolt.org = oracle box.
weo.evolt.org = dedicated web server
leo.evolt.org = houses beo/leo/deo/aeo/feo

and heres a picture to maybe help match them up

as you can see, everything except the leo box is normal size.

disk space on the three main boxes:

as you can see, the web and DB boxes have plenty of space, but leo is in
a bit of a crunch. its doubtfull that members.evolt.org could go *back*
onto the leo machine (it was untill this winter) in the current state.

all the machines are running linux 2.4.14 with XFS as their filesystem.

primary services on each machine:

weo: apache & CF, ftp, ssh
oreo: oracle, ssh
leo: sendmail(lists), apache, CF, PHP(deo), mysql(deo), ftp, ssh

all versions of apache are 1.3.23, cf is version 5, mysql 3.23.39,
php4.1.2(needs to be upgraded if it becomes a general hosting thing
again), sendmail is 8.12.0, proftpd is 1.2.2rc3 on leo and 1.2.1 on weo.
oracle is 8.1.6 on oreo, and the client software is 8.1.7 on weo/leo
(dont ask)

i had a mixture of ipchains and iptables on the machines, and was in the
process of migrating to iptables last week. weo only allows ftp
connections from another evolt.org machine and isn't accessable to the
outside world. same with ssh. both the relay servers only allow SMTP
connections from leo, and ssh connections from other evolt.org boxes.
mysql is blocked from outside the LAN as well on leo. some of the boxes
are set to reject all traffic from a couple Class C's and a Class B that
are the homelands of script kiddies that tried fucking around at one
point or another...

apache status on each of the boxes can be accessed via:

http://weo.evolt.org/server-status

weo is set to only allow viewing from this LAN, but leo is wide open.
also, the CF administrator interface is found via a similar method:

those are password protected(matt and dean, and maybe jeff have it(if
you dont jeff, its the 'old' password that was used before i changed it))

browsers.evolt.org/stats has the stats for as long as i've been doing
them. original log files are all on leo as well.

may not be needed right now, but i just thought i'd get some of this
info ou tthere while i was thinking about it..

if you guys need/want other info, just ask.. its hard to try to remember
every detail off the top of my head.. :)
