Just a clarification here. According to our meo guidelines, only people who
are *already* evolt.org members/subscribers and have contributed to
evolt.org in the past are *eligible* for meo space. So, if you Lach, had
never heard of evolt.org, for instance, and just discovered meo, you would
*not* be given an account.

In other words, there is no question of joining *because* of meo, because
you'd have to be a contributing member to have an account in the first
place. If you check the admin archives, you'll see plenty of emails saying,
"I want some hosting space", to which the usual answer is "Do something for
evolt.org first, then we'll see", phrased in a more diplomatic manner of
course.

What I fear is that meo will be viewed as a Geocities alternative (sans the
ads).
