Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers -------------------- Start of message text -------------------- William I took a look @ the RBS offering (I'm a long standing RBS customer too, and used to work for them) There's 2 problems: 1) It's basically a small business account, slightly rebranded, with equivalent charges 2) Their small business online banking app requires Windows/IE as it depends on an Activex control (it's the old consumer online banking app) Cheers Martin Please respond to theforum at lists.evolt.org Sent by: theforum-admin at lists.evolt.org To: <theforum at lists.evolt.org> cc: Subject: Re: [Theforum] Donations (WAS: RE: announcement) ---- Original Message ---- From: "Marlene Bruce" <marlene at members.evolt.org> To: <theforum at lists.evolt.org> Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2002 1:32 AM Subject: Re: [Theforum] Donations (WAS: RE: announcement) > > > If anyone here is in the UK and is willing to talk with the > > finance > > > list about helping in this regard, I'd be ecstatic. > > > > hey, i'm in the uk - what's needed? :) > > Well, since I sent that email, Martin's informed the Finance list > that he's waiting to hear from Bank of Scotland (the "firm > recommendation" that he's gotten from his other NFP contacts). I'm on quite a good footing with the Royal Bank of Scotland, and have a few accounts with them - they've been very good to me over the last 11 years or so, and they punt me nice deals every so often (i don't always take them up on it tho!) They offer a Treasurer account - more details here: (beware possible wrap) http://www.rbs.co.uk/small_business/managing/royal_business_online/rb16/bus_ serv/treasurers_ac.htm http://www.rbs.co.uk/small_business/investing/instant_access/treas.htm I'll temp sub to Finance once the sites are back up. -- _ __/| ___ ___ __ _________ "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned \`O_o' / _ \/ -_) // / __/ _ \ for Sega." -- Brodie, 'Mallrats' =(_ _)=/_//_/\__/\_,_/_/ \___/ @ well.com :: William Anderson U - Ack!
