no, we're not discussing that at all.  i'm not interested in altering that interface because it's used throughout the entire site.  i still think that altering the ability to browse through all the articles from the homepage is a pretty significant change from the current design and am not willing to do that with this version because of the amount of work it will require with little benefit.

the number of days will depend on how many articles were submitted in a particular time frame.  10 would probably cover it in most instances where there were lots of approvals in a short period, but could also be overkill in most other instances.

you've probably had no problem with it because you can remember words that were in the title.  imagine using it as a new user that's not familiar with the content yet.

heck no.

i like google for searching the net as a whole, but i think it's lacking for searching a single site.  it's much too difficult to narrow searches down to exactly what you're looking for.  try searching on a particular category, for instance.  it's not happening.
