Why? Aren't those requests very on topic - because only with the data to
evaluate can an accurate migration happen. It's best to hand over a copy, to
make sure that all testing is done in ample time.

And no, i don't agree with your definition of rebuilding from scratch. 
And certainly is noone hacking anything together. Study the composition of
drupal and you learn that no hacking is needed, because it's that flexible
of a system. A demo drupal db is already set for you at
http://evolt.elfur.org/drupal

I disagree and the rest of theforum does as well (interim tally says 11-1
for drupalizing).

So if the tally of the drupalizing vote will be for drupalizing, they are
also voting for handing over a copy of the weo data by noon Monday. And that
my friend is then out of your hands, you would be obliged to react to that
decision.

May I finally remind you that we are paying you for hosting, you have
already received $400 for hosting until the end of January next. Denial of
delivery of data is not an option for you at this time.
(says the one who will soon not be able to use the IANAL abbreviation)
