I am writing because I have a problem with Index Server. My platform is Windos
NT Server 4.0 SP6a running IIS 4.0. I am using a host header for my web site.
Whenever I try to execute a search against my web site I receive the following
message, "The template file can not be found in the location specified by
'CiTemplate=' in file index.idq." I am using the HTML/IDQ/HTX approach for
searching web pages under Index Server 2.0. The variable, ciTemplate, in
query.idq is set to CiTemplate=/Search/index.htx. Is there a problem with using
the HTML/IDQ/HTX approach against a web site that uses a host header? I cannot
figure out where it thinks the index.htx file should be.

If I were to enter into my search page not using the host header information as
the URL address but the traditional syntax of http://servername/web
directory/search/query.htm and change the ciTemplate variable to CiTemplate=/Web
Directory/Search/index.htx I have no problem. The problem seems to relate to
host headers.

Any ideas? Any help would be much needed and appreciated.
