Actually this site was run by this one guy.

I remember more of the URL, it had the words "self" and "submit" somewhere
in it along with something else. I've tried endless combinations. All I know
was this was a truly excellent site for submitting to loads of the lesser
known search engines with it giving you tips on the major ones.
