Only if you make your straight HTML pages with .HTM extensions. If you have
straight HTML pages, giving them a .HTML extension gets around that
problem... Not many (if any) people will think there's a difference in the
type of pages, most would just think they were coded by different people.

This is pretty straightforward, but if you are working on a server that
actually does serve straight HTML pages as well, then it puts an extra
overhead on the server resources. Basically the server will have to parse
every html page it sends to the browser. If every page actually has dynamic
content though, it shouldn't make any particular difference.
