Question: does anyone have a trick for using acronyms so that they
are read as acronyms and not as a word?

4.3.2 Acronyms and abbreviations
Checkpoints in this section: 4.2.

Mark up abbreviations and acronyms with ABBR and ACRONYM and use "title" to
indicate the expansion:

Example.

   <P>Welcome to the <ACRONYM title="World Wide Web">WWW</ACRONYM>!

End example.
