Apple's 1999 US market share is outlined in the Steve Jobs interview in this
weeks Business Week (I read the European Edition)

+-home-market------+
1994 14.7%
1997 5.0%
1999 7.1%
+------------------+
+-business-market--
1994 6.4%
1997 1.4%
1999 1.3%
+------------------+
+-education-market-+
1994 47.0%
1997 27.2%
1999 16.5%
+------------------+

Apple have stated they are focusing on their "comfort zone" - consumers,
schools and creative professionals - the business market is simply not in
the sights of Apple at the present.

The Royal Bank of Scotland (my main bank) operate an excellent internet
banking service, but sadly it's Wintel/IE only (uses x86 ActiveX controls).
