[thelist] process/architecture diagramming

this is exaclty tthe same thing i was asking for a couple of weeks ago!
(but by tyhe i got no answers)

I. Software

so.. visio is the thing, but what version of it, will the basic software fit my
needs?
we actually map these things in "flow" a diagraming software from 1994, but it
does the job (draw)

II. Documenting Architecture

we work on this as a team
we first define the clients and his goals
then explain and map the funcionalities (maybe we could comepre some maps)
we also do site maps showing hierarchy and navigation
and schemes for every page, detailing buttons, paragraphs

or worst problem is who do we prepere these documents for...
we have tree audiences every time
1. our co's Directors (we're the newest section and they expect lots from us)
2. the clients (who is usually impressed with our proffesionalism)
3. production (who always complain that it lacks more information)
