Addressing a few things here.

You're right - it wasn't obscene. But it was pretty 'off the wall' and
pointless.adrians comment that proceded it summed it up perfectly. If
someone decides to post an irrelevant comment to an aritcle by pedrito
that said something like, "Formatting is kewl. I remember the first time
i got 'formatted' at this frat party back in '97.. SIGMA EP
RULEZ!!!@!!!" I'd almost certainly wonder if that belonged on thesite.
Its a fine line that everyone here has input on, which is why I asked
what you're thoughts were. No one will ever censor stuff that gets
posted to evolt in the strict sense. If shit gets posted, like some of
the stuff that gets posted to slashdot.org though, thats a shame and I
don't think(just my opinion here) it belongs. The last thing we need on
evolt is a natalie portman thread...

well, that just won't happen. If you want more details/re-assurance, let
me know and I'll give you a 5 page email on why :)

Exactly. Obviously this person had no interest in contributing anything
except this off the wall remark if they didnt leave an email.

I thought it should stay as well, but I'm not the decision maker here(no
matter what some may think). Everyone here is, and thats who makes the
final decision.. This is getting into those muddy waters of whats
right/wrong, good/evil, "i cant believe its not butter"/margarine etc..
So if anyone has thoughts or input on this, share it :)
