[thelist] PC equivalent of NEW YORK font

I don't think so. My understanding was that New York was the early Mac
equivalent for Times, and Apple developed it (along with Geneva, the early
Mac equivalent for Helvetica) because they didn't want to license the fonts.
New York's not exactly the same because they optimized it for screen display
and dot-matrix printers by increasing the x-height and m-width (and they did
the same with Geneva in relation to Helvetica).

Anybody else?
