download something like screen ruler and measure off a 100x100px 
square on screen...

transfer that measurement to a red Post-It note...

affix to top left corner of browser window on screen...

turn down brightness so nothing shines through, or, for older 
browsers, turn off the power altogether (they seem to feel better 
this way)...

test across multiple browsers and OSes, being sure to bring the 
post-it and its parent-pad with you where you go, explaining that 
pixels are different from machine to machine, but that you have the 
cross-browser-platform one with you, and with some scissors or 
tape, you can get it to work...
