first of all, IIS 5 is Win2K only, it is not part of NT4, but that's no big
deal

as long as you're not getting into the DNS/Active Directory stuff, or
setting it up as a domain controller, you're pretty safe.

If he's tweaked out the IIS4 config in the registry and stuff, an upgrade
will use those config settings, which may not be better than IIS5's
defaults. If you(he) can afford it, rebuild the server from scratch instead
of upgrading.

take yer time, read the readme, and good luck, its not that bad =)
