With IE 4+, only the select element will not z-index, and even the select
will abide by certain CSS properties (e.g., background-color, font-family,
color). The only other form element that I can think of OTTOMH that resists
CSS in IE 4+ is an input of type file, where the "Browse..." button
maintains many of its default characteristics regardless of style sheet
settings. Form controls in Netscape 4 are far less submissive to style
sheets, although I believe all form elements in Netscape 6 are remarkably
accepting of CSS formatting.
