Wanna give your system a 5-20% boost? Been running windows for a while and 
it feels like its sloooowing down? Try these bon mots:

(Do this just before you decide to shut down and call it a night.)

Step One: Open Netscape or IE and run the delete cache files option. For IE 
- Select Tools:Internet Options, click on the Delete Temporary Files 
Button. For Netscape - Select Edit:Preferences, Click on the plus sign next 
to 'Advanced', then click on Cache. Click the Clear Disk Cache Button.

Step Two: Close all open programs, Find c:\windows\temp, c:\temp, 
C:\documents and settings\<your login name>\local setttings\temp, and 
delete EVERYTHING that maybe in these directories - but don't delete the 
directories themselves.

Step Four: Empty your trash.

Step Three: Turn off your screen saver. Run your favorite defragger or the 
windows internal defragger on all your hard drives. Turn off your monitor 
and go to sleep.

Step Four: Wake refreshed. Turn on monitor, reboot machine, go get your 
favorite morning beverage.

Step Five: Enjoy a slightly rejuvenated windows os.
