Nope, sorry - I guess I disagree (and that's okay) - it just doesn't make
sense to me.  I've dealt with consultants who "had no knowledge of any
specific application" - they made a ^%$^%$^-ing bundle of money [which is
cool] - they also (IMO) produced nothing of value [which is not cool].

This OO world might be kinda nice ... if you only had ONE module for a given
task.  But you won't.  You'll have thousands to choose from, each slightly
different, each tailored to a specific need or industry ... [hell Oracle
alone will build five for each function!] ... and I think that will defeat
your "plug & play vision".

... and when those 'latest technology and newest trends' these specialists
are using become yesterday's news?  When those pages have to be kept
running?    When they have to be updated?   When 'objects' are passe?

Sorry Dude ... It still sounds like a bunch of 'greenhorn MBA' talk to me.
The world ain't gonna stop during implementation ... and their ain't ever
gonna be no "level playing field".
