hi lisa
that's a common complaint, but i think i have a solution
some people have tried adjusting things with css, but you gotta know that's
a lost cause
i used a stripey background image with horizontal single-pixel lines, like
the background image of the old evolt site (how's that for a plug) in order
to see if there was any effect on line height using the following technique
cm<small>2</small>
and there wasn't
works fine but you have to go small before you go sup
for degrees i would use a lower case letter o
C<small>o</small>
i know there are entities for both of these but i've heard that they are
not completely cross-browser
